And that’s only the beginning of a more exciting journey that lies ahead. Development of a coal spot exchange, exploring export possibilities, green mining, and implementation of CCUS and gasication are but a few transformational changes the market is bracing for.

To capture the essence of these exciting times, mjunction services limited is going to organise the 17th Indian Coal Markets Conference at Taj Bengal in Kolkata on March 21-22, 2024.

Some key topics to be discussed in the conference this year:

  • What will it take for large-scale adoption of CCUS in India?
  • Supply outlook and project updates from India’s biggest miners
  • What is the roadmap for India’s coal-based generation?
  • How will the coal exchange reshape the Indian coal market?
  • Will exchange-based trading debase the auctions market?
  • Can Railways cope with coal’s logistics requirements?
